This Privacy Policy governs your use of services provided by Nnenu Limited (also referred to as "we", "our", or "us") through electronic platforms such as the Nnenu mobile application (the "Product"). The Product and the services offered or provided through it are collectively referred to as the "Services".

By using the Services in any manner, whether as a registered user or otherwise, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted this Privacy Policy. We may modify this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Services after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy. This policy also applies to our advertisers, as users of the Services or account holders.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and to fair information practices.

Information that we collect

We process information about you. The type of information we collect depends on how you use our Products.

We collect content, communications, and other information you provide when using our Products, including account details, content you create or share, messages with others, and associated metadata such as a photo's location or a file's creation date. We may process this information to understand context and provide information relevant to your location and preferences.

We collect information about your networks and connections, how you use our Products, and information others provide about you. This includes people, accounts, hashtags, pages, contact information you upload or sync, content you view or engage with, features you use, actions you take, and the time, frequency, and duration of your activities.

We also collect information from and about the computers, phones, connected TVs, and other web-connected devices used with our Products. This may include device attributes, device operations, unique identifiers, Bluetooth and nearby Wi-Fi signals, information you allow through device settings such as GPS location, camera, or photos, network and connection information, and cookie data.

Advertisers, app developers, and publishers may send us information through Nnenu tools, including APIs and SDKs. This can include information about your device, websites you visit, purchases, ads you see, and how you use their services.

How do we use this information?

We use the information we have to provide, personalise, and improve our Products, including features, content, Nnenu Map, suggestions, ads, and sponsored content. We use connections, preferences, interests, activities, and the people, places, and things you are connected to or interested in to create Products that are relevant to you.

We use location-related information, including precise device location when you allow it and IP addresses, to provide, personalise, and improve our Products. We also use information for product research and development, measurement and analytics, safety, integrity and security, communication with you, and research and innovation for social good.

How is this information shared?

When you share and communicate using our Products, people and businesses may see the content you send. Public information can be seen by anyone, on or off our Products, including your Nnenu username, public profile information, and content you share with a public audience. Public information may also be accessed, reshared, downloaded, or made available through search engines, APIs, media, and services that integrate with our Products.

People who can see your activity may share it with others on or off our Products. We may transfer information to a new owner if ownership or control of all or part of our Products or their assets changes.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information or Personal Data with third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We may disclose Personal Data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in response to a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process. We may share information with affiliates, partners, vendors, and service providers that support core services such as hosting, storage, security, data processing, analytics, payments, customer service, and research. These parties must uphold comparable standards of security and confidentiality.

We may provide aggregated statistics and insights to analytics partners, reports to advertisers, transaction information to sellers and content creators where needed, and information to vendors, service providers, researchers, academics, law enforcement, or other parties in response to legal requests or as otherwise described in this policy.

Managing and deleting your information

You can access, rectify, port, and delete your data. We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our Services and Products, or until your account is deleted, whichever comes first. When you delete your account, we delete content you posted, such as photos and status updates, and you may not be able to recover it. Information others have shared about you is not part of your account and will not be deleted.

We may access, preserve, and share your information with regulators, law enforcement, or others in response to a legal request, to detect or prevent fraud, unauthorised use, harmful or illegal activity, or to protect Nnenu, you, or others. Information subject to legal obligations, governmental investigations, or possible policy violations may be retained for an extended period.

International data transfers

We share information globally within Nnenu and with partners and people you connect and share with, in accordance with this policy. Your information may be transferred to, stored, or processed in Hong Kong or other countries outside where you live to provide and operate our Products. Where applicable, we use standard contractual clauses, rely on adequacy decisions, and obtain consent for these transfers.

Changes to this policy

We will notify you before we make changes to this policy and give you the opportunity to review the revised policy before you continue using our Products.
